Empower Your Health Journey
The Natural Medicine Collective is a small and inclusive Naturopathy Clinic based in leafy Kensington, Melbourne. Our Clinical Naturopaths are committed to helping you achieve your health goals.
Naturopathy is a holistic form of healthcare that is based on the body's innate ability to heal, given the right conditions. Utilising an individual evidence based approach for each client, we use herbal medicine, practitioner quality supplements, and lifestyle/dietary practices. We also use in depth case taking, functional testing & blood tests to establish the root cause of your symptoms.
Naturopathic treatment aligns to six principles:
First do no harm (Vis Medicatrix Naturae)
The healing power of nature (Tolle Causam)
Identify & treat the cause (Primum Non Nocere)
Doctor as teacher (Docere)
Treat the whole person (Tolle Totum)
Prevention (Preventare)
Our naturopaths truly love what they do. Working from a place of empathy, they prioritise making you feel comfortable. Our clinic is proud to be inclusive and judgement free.
Based in Kensington, we see clients from neighbouring suburbs North Melbourne, Flemington, Ascot Vale, Moonee Ponds, Carlton, Fitzroy, Footscray, Seddon, Yarraville or via telehealth.
Consultations are by appointment only.
How does it work?
-
Naturopathy is a form of healthcare dedicated to uncovering the root cause of your symptoms. The body has the ability to heal if you remove any barriers.
Working with the power of herbal medicine, nutritional supplements, dietary and lifestyle adjustments, your naturopath will help correct imbalances and restore your health and vitality.
-
Naturopathy can support you with any condition you may have, and works beautifully alongside conventional treatment.
We get amazing results with the following:
Women’s hormonal issues including PCOS, PMDD/PMS, menopause, endometriosis etc
Vaginal microbiome issues eg thrush, UTI’s, BV, STI’s etc
Nervous system support eg anxiety, depression, insomnia, energy levels, exhaustion
GIT or gut issues like indigestion, GERD/GORD, SIBO, leaky gut, IBS, constipation, food sensitivities
Immune support for colds, viruses, autoimmune
plus a whole lot more
Please book in for a clarity call to discuss what’s going on for you, and we will let you know how we can help
-
Naturopathic treatment is a delicate blend of traditional healing which is guided by clinical evidence.
This means that your treatment plan is aligned with current scientific research, ensuring you are receiving the most relevant treatment possible.
-
Once your initial consultation and tests are all completed, you will be given a unique treatment plan. Naturopathy is a collaboration, your commitment to your plan is part of your success!
For simple issues you can expect to see significant results within 3 months (most times less than this). You will see both a reduction in symptoms and also be correcting any underlying imbalances.
For chronic or multiple issues you can still expect to see some improvements within 3 months, however it may require a longer term commitment to fully correct the underlying issues. If you think about how long it might take to develop a fatty liver or build up bad cholesterol (I’ll give you a hint - it takes years!) then it makes sense that this will take some time to reverse.
-
Part of your naturopath’s job is to educate you about what is happening to your body, and how your treatment is helping you.
Being informed means you are in control and are actively involved in your health journey or recovery.
That being said, we all hit plateaus with our health, and our old habits sneak back in. Your naturopath has a unique skillset that will help you discover your blocks, and gently guide you back to your plan.
With renewed self interest and commitment, you will get there.
